One has to wonder if you can get DQ'd in a wrestle-off for the double-split-bird-salute, or if that sort of behavior is encouraged in that new wrestling dungeon of theirs. Well if you can then @flyingcement and @Jimmy Cinnabon should've been DQ'd from these hear forums long ago. . maybe @poorwrestler also.
CowboyYe2024
I don't want any hard feelings with Michigan guys, but 3rd isn't going to happen. Maybe 5. They COULD place higher than Iowa but still them and ASU will go neck and neck with it

A singular instance this year but Andonian and Stewart were both certainly seeded lower than their skill level just given the amount of matches they had on the year. From 125 - 157 they were seeded: Camacho - 7 seed - DNP (-2) Orine - 3 seed - 8th (-5) Jack - 4 seed - 7th (-3) Arrington - 3 seed - DNP (-6) Scott - 4 seed - DNP (-5) IMO every one of those guys is somewhere between the 6th and 12th best wrestler at their respective weights. Every single one of them won the ACC "tournament" and was subsequently overseeded because of it.

CowboyYe2024
VT has a strong lineup. They could make some noise but OSU has higher ranked guys at the higher weights. Stewart vs Plott would be a great match

Not like they are dominating weak guys and getting overseeded. Something has just been happening at nationals.
Go Hokies
I know some of you will laugh at my post, but I think my Hokies could get to the podium: 125 Ventresca- previous AA 133- McGonagle- decent chance at AA 141- Latona- 2x AA 149- Henson- Champ 157- Hipolito- could go 2-2 at big meet, very dangerous like Andonian 165- Brady/Amine- 174- Wolak- AA 184- Stewart- AA as a freshman 197 Sasso/Smith- possible AA 285- Catka/Mullen The ceiling for this lineup is probably a finalist and 7 other AA. Is that enough to hit the podium???
