Jimmy Cinnabon
First their legendary HOF coach retires and they go out recruit over one of their own, Coleman Scott, in favor of World and Olympic champ David Taylor. Taylor is young, has star power, and is idolized by today's top recruits. He will be a power recruiter right out of the gate and has more star power with young kids than Cael. He could build a dynasty over the next 20 years. Second Taylor loads up on young, well known assistant coaches, regardless of whether they are alum of Ok State. Third Taylor lands hot new transfers like Wyatt Pindrickson. Immediately OK State vaults from the middle of the pick to the top and is the biggest treat to Penn State. Isn't this basically what Iowa fans wanted their staff to do? Edited May 20 by Jimmy Cinnabon
Truzzcat
Not sure about all that, I do know that Iowa has been very inactive recruiting wise, presumably because they were looking to go big in the portal. So, if Okie state lands Alirez and Wyatt I would say that is them doing what Iowa had planned to do.
