Most Gruesome Injuries

Recommended Posts

I had a HS friend who was a phenomenal baseball pitcher and threw umpteen no hitters from Little League thru HS.  He went out for wrestling as a senior simply to get in better shape and stronger for baseball.  In practice one afternoon he put his left arm back to break his fall when his opponent picked his ankle.  He suffered a Type 3 fracture of the radial head in his left elbow and other damage.  He never pitched again.  Man, I felt sorry for him.

IDK why i was thinking about this but...

I was at a dual at Nebraska around 2003 ish and Travis Shufelt tore up his elbow something wicked. he rolled over and his arm flopped around like a limp noodle.

what are some of the most cringy on-the-mat injuries you remember?

Brayton Lee comes to mind. And Cory Clark had one in FS.

Chances elbow I believe at cadet worlds in 2012?
