Thx

Realize LR joining right away is speculation, they should've been in before.  Sure PAC schools may have the same 2 year period like B12 had, but if they can move quicker they should.

Stanford athletics (but mostly football and basketball) made their decision, yes.

But they evaluated the cost of all programs when making their decision, same with USC etc.

USC is going to rake in over 100mil clams a year from the B1G with the new tv deal. Stanford was just desperate after the other Pac schools jumped ship and accepted a terrible offer, and now the non-revenue sports will have to live with the consequences. It also sucks for the ACC non-revenue sports that will have to travel to and from California.

But prob a better deal than what Oregon St & Washington St are left with?

IIRC UW and UO are getting $30mil/year for the next 6 years from the B1G's media deal. Stanford and Cal's distribution will be around $7-10mil/year for the next 7 years from the ACC. That number might change for the better or worse though with all the drama going on with FSU and Clemson.

And what are wOSU & WSU getting?  Cause thats prob the boat Stan & Cal wouldve been in if not jumping.

Unknown, because there was no media deal inked when they left. The current offer on the table was around $25mil per year per school but the Pac schools (except USC and UCLA who already bolted) thought they could do better.
