Most egregious stall calls of Conference Weekend

It's definitely Haines getting hit against Lewan, but the one I just saw against Bastida 15 seconds into the third was brutal.

That Haines one was amazing.  I was thoroughly convinced the ref had a prop bet placed on the match after seeing that call.

The announcers speculated (oddly) it was a good thing for Haines and the match because the ref was calling them quickly.  The implication was that he would call a second one on Lewan if it merited it.  I'm glad the match ended with a takedown and not a stall call.

Missed locked hands goes to - Shawver v DRag, twice.

I laughed when Ragusin asked Bormet to challenge and he pretty much said he wasn’t going to risk it when you’re getting killed

The Williams-Swiderski match was terrible for a lack of stalling calls! Why does a ref tell a D1 kid to put his foot on the line? He told Williams to put his foot on the line at least 3 times. Plus Williams backed up the entire match! STALLING!

And locked hands. Williams taking two gold medals in this thread.

Haines is my boy. Looks like he rides his surfboard to practice. But just picture a universe where Lewan wins in SV because they hit Levi with stalling. Might be enough to make Cael take the Lord’s name in vain.
