I said above average. There are teams with better lineups 149- down. Can't help Penn state fans are just Ultra Charmin soft

Not according to this website, there isn't.

The expected points for 125, 133, 141, 149 based on the latest ranking:

I think you're making a grave mistake arguing with jajensen using facts.

There are certainly 4 or 5 teams that have the ability to outperform PSU at these 4 weights.  However, Penn State is favored to do the best against the field.

I would consider teams like Minnesota, West Virginia and SDSU to be above average at all 4 weights.

NC state is the only team I think you can strongly argue may be better. I think Orine and Arrington are a good bit more likely to High AA than Nagao and Kasak. Davis and Camacho I would say is a wash I like Camacho's upside but hard to ignore that skid mid-season. Beau's floor is like 3 unless he skids into hardy in the Consi semis but more than likely he's in the finals and I think jacks ceiling is probably 5. Penn state has a legit shot at 2 champs though whereas Nc states best shot is Camacho, but he could also fail to AA.

Speaking of facts.

Fun fact. There is only one 4 weight combination where another school has higher expected points than PSU.

Take the four lowest ranked PSU guys (Nagao, Kasak, Truax, Bartlett) and they come in second to NC State's lineup (Orine, Arrington, Fishback, Jack).

Every other combination of four weights has PSU on top.

I'd take nebraska 149 on down.  125 Smith broke davis, 133 naggo for now, I'll still take hardy, 149 ridge not close

maybe head-to-head but in a tournament setting I think the floors of those guys aside from ridge are just much lower even at 125 Davis has just been far more consistent.

125 who knows that's all matchup dependent

133 naggo should aa but he's been up and down

141 beau has shown to have 0 offense. A guy like mathews could knock out bartlett out real soon.

149 1 -2

Are you officially on the record that Nebraska will out place and out score PSU at 125-149?

Yeah, it will probably come down to 125.  IMO the most likely teams to outscore them would be Oklahoma State if Fix and Spratley win and Davis doesn’t AA, and maybe Arizona State if Parco and Figueroa win.
