peanut
Who is the best wrestler from your state? Indiana is not a premier state, and some of its best wrestlers have competed in other states for high school. But it’s produced some elite wrestlers anyway. Not sure who the best is, but some of the best are Micic (world champ), Escobedo, Howe, Nick Lee, and Parris. Steveson lived in Indiana for a while but it doesn’t really count. Hildebrandt is the best women’s wrestler. Edited February 20 by peanut
ionel
Myron Roderick was pretty good. Also a decent coach, AD and racquetball player.
Mr. PeanutButter
OK so I grew up abroad, went to high school in Iowa, attended college in Oregon, spent 5ish years each in PA and NY, technically live in Colorado currently (that's where my house is) but have spent the last 6 months in Iowa helping my parents get back on their feet. Which state do I pick? I'm going to have to do some research regardless

Past - Henry Cejudo (technically he went to HS in Colorado for his junior and senior year). Ryan Deakin, Tyler Graff, Connor Medbery Currently Andrew Alirez, Cohlton Schultz, Daniel Cardenas, Isaiah Salazar...

I’m also a big fan of Henry Cejudo!

MPhillips
Since there seem to be no rules... HS - Alan Fried (I always get pushback from folks about Luke Fickell, Taylor, Kemp and numerous others. I get it) College - Lee Kemp (Steiber, Taylor) HS/College/International - David Taylor (Kemp)

wrestle87
Depending on the level we’re talking about, I think it has to go between Jordan Burroughs, Damion Hahn and Bruce Baumgartner. Hahn makes the cut here bc JB didn’t get really good til his junior year in college.
Bardamu911
Aaron Brooks and/or Kyle Snyder is technically the correct answer but feck me I'm going with the Butcher of Baltimore, Rico Chiapparelli
