Who wins these duels

Wood

Recommended Posts

Is it pistols at dawn?

Based on rankings alone they both come down to bonus points as PSU is ranked highest in 5 weights. But, I think there is a general consensus that Mesenbrink should be ranked higher.

With only Hamiti above him from the B1G, I think PSU would then be favored.

Who wins a duel between Penn State and Big 10 all star team, I’ll take penn state, who wins Penn State and National All Star team, probably come down to bonus points

All I know is you don't want @Interviewed_at_Weehawken on the all star team, he's likely to throw his shot.

I'll take a stab at this duel.  Here's my best shot of predicting PSU vs the Field

                                                                          PSU | Field

125 Davis vs Ramos                                            0   |  3

133 Nagao vs Crookham/Fix/Vito                      0    |  6/7 major if you take Vito

141 Bartlett vs Mendez (for now)                       3   |   6/7

149 Kasak vs Lovett                                           3    |  9/10

157 Haines vs I'm taking Shapiro                       6    |  9/10

165 Mesenbrink vs KOT                                      6    | 12/13

174 Starr vs Mekhi                                               9    | 12/13

184 Traux vs Keck                                               9    |  15/16

197 Brooks vs Hidlay                                          12    | 15/16

Hvwt Kerk vs Hendrickson/Bastida                   15    | 15/16

*Possible Bonus at 149 for Lovett, 174 for Starr, & maybe Hvwt for Kerk

it should be duels....dual is an adj, duel is a noun. Confusion comes from people saying "dual meet" i assume....

nounduel; plural noun: duels
  1. a contest with deadly weapons arranged between two people in order to settle a point of honor.

 I wouldn't bother arguing it.

Now if you insist on saying, 'states' instead of 'state' that's a hill I would die on...

You probably say Taylor Ham instead of Pork Roll- or worse yet- you don't know either term!

Oof, now we might get confused people from this fictional place called Central Jersey telling us it's both

Well, the rulebook says "duals," so there is that...

the rulebook is predicated on the idea of books which is predicated on language which is predicated on higher sources than the rule book. Dual is an adjective.

Let's be serious- dual is short for dual meet. Duel has no real place in this discussion. Bicycle is also a noun. Doesn't have anything to do with this either. (Other than a means to train)

train can also be a noun, prob has nothing to do with this either except bicycles should always stop for trains.
