Anyone watch Bill Maher last night?

I’d be interested to know what peoples thoughts were on Bill Maher’s show last night. I thought his pre panel guest was outstanding and later in the show he spent time talking about what other countries are like compared to America.  Said we need to be focused on and regularly talking about the progress this country has made and not how shitty everything is.   It was also pretty clear that Bob Costas can’t stand Trump but is 100% sure Biden needs to step down as he’s too incompetent to beat him.  When Costas suggested Newsome The other guest (a California resident) went off on how he looks good and shiny but has destroyed California.    I disagree with Bill more than I agree with him thought he had some good guests and points last night.

Curious what others thought.

Just saw a small portion of it on Fox News. Bill seems to have a good perspective of the reality concerning the state of the Democratic Party/

Bill is more center than people think.  He just hates Trump which is why he went as far left as he did.  It’s absolutely anti woke which is refreshing.

maher has always been a social libertarian without much interest in economic issues. the only thing that’s changed is his distaste for a certain type of left cultural politics (which is mostly driven by the fact those people don’t like his humor).

he comes off more balanced now because his dislike of “wokeness” is catching up to his dislike of religion.

Both religion and wokeness are trumped by his hatred of a certain guy named Donald.

Did you watch the show?  Thoughts if you did?

I knew Costas hated trump but I was shocked how hard he game after Biden. I believe he’s still on MLB network announcing baseball games which usually prohibits someone from speaking their mind that way.
