  1. 1. Does Daton finally win a championship this year?

yep this is the year he finally gets it.  He's been wrestling better than ever

why do you think he's better this year? Seems like he's been the same wrestler for awhile.

I felt like last year he was either injured or a bit flat, but looked worse than previous years.  Seems to me like he is more aggressive against guys who he might have caged up against in the past.  I could be wrong though.

Vito seems to be a bad matchup for Daton having won their last two meetings once in freestyle once in folk. While im not saying its impossible for Daton to beat him I think he'd need Vito to be off which we've seen happen. I do like Daton against crookham as well as nagao and ragusin. Ragusin is a guy I could see posing Vito issues he reminds me a lot of Latona with his body type but I think he punishes errant shots better than Latona and is much quicker to the corner.

I'm not saying he is or isn't better this season than in the past. BUT, if he has improved, I'd point the finger at Coleman Scott. Seems like Ok St. lightweights overall are performing better than in recent past.

?  Are you saying that anything about today's nothingburger win suggests he will beat The Force That Is Vito?

Not even a little bit. Just that it’s time to hopefully see the first 4-timer.
