FanOfPurdueWrestling
This takes place @IU and should be a competitive dual, as far as a 27 vs 33 Matchup gos. FanOfPurdueWrestling Prediction: Purdue: 60 Indiana: 0 WrestleStat Prediction: Indiana over Purdue 26 - 6 Marquee Match-ups 157: Joey Blaze (PU) vs Brayton Lee (IU) 174: DJ Washington(IU) vs Brody Baumann (PU)
Gage
I think PU COULD win 133 & 184. 125 and 157 I'm giving to PU for sure (Blaze has been super impressive and I think Ramos gets bonus). 165 could be interesting.. Buell has a H2H win over Lillard last year.

Southend
Not indicative of the dual. Every match was contested. Fun to watch a clean in state rivalry.

It was all so close, Purdue came up short on every close one. 133,141,157, 174,184 were all fantastic matches, the only thing that would have made them better would be Purdue winning them. IU is building, Purdue is young, this rivalry will hopefully be better and better moving forward.
Southend
Ersland has done a fantastic job for Purdue. Put them on the wrestling map. They will be back, shortly. In tje mean time both universities need to concentrate on keeping tje local high school talent in state and build off of that. Too many get away to help other big ten schools. Too many get away to help other big ten schools. My friends and I were talking about that, keeping talent in state. I think that’s a problem for every state in all honesty. if you’re a top 5 guy in your weight you can realistically go anywhere so there is less reason to stay in state.
