The Race for Second is Like The Race for 125

Recommended Posts

Iowa's inability to hang on to the top spot at 125 is reflected in their inability to hang on to the projected second spot as Missouri returns to the position after a one month fall from grace.

Meanwhile PSU extends their advantage to an expected 62 points. Still short of where the gap stood in the pre-season, but definitely going the wrong way for the field. PSU is getting dangerously close to doubling the second place total again.

Nebraska is a team that is all over the place in that 2nd place race. If they peak at the right time you could see Smith, Hardy, Ridge, Robb,Pinto, Allred AA. With Van dee, Taylor, Wilson, and Hutmacher scoring points at ncaas. However if the team is on a downward spiral yoi could see only Ridge AAing. This team has the POTENTIAL to put up alot of points.

  • Oklahoma State and NC State are separating from the pack.
  • At the same time, Iowa, Iowa State, Cornell, Virginia Tech, Michigan, and Nebraska are just too close to call for the final podium spot (which, sadly, comes with no trophy). The spread from 4th to 9th stands at just 3.6 points. Which might as well be zero.
  • Missouri has fallen just a bit off the pace.
  • But Lehigh has come out of nowhere to insert themselves in the trophy/podium conversation.

Sorry to notify you that I coined the title of this thread already. See you in court.

So, you are posting in a January 23rd thread titled "The Race for Second..." that on February 10 you coined the title of this thread? My lawyers, the esteemed firm of Dewey, Cheattum & Howe, say that cannot wait.

And they want to do a credit check on you first.

okie state has the most bullets in the chamber in terms of AA caliber guys. If Robb/camacho find their form I could see both Nebraska and NC state being very tough too.

What the heck does that have to do with suing Wkn?  🙄
