How to Promote a Program

Recommended Posts

I attended Clemson’s Women Gymnastics first ever home meet Friday. College wrestling programs can learn something from how the Tigers promoted their women’s gymnastics team. They plastered social media with videos and info about their athletes. Their coach was charismatic and generated a ton of energy and excitement for fans.

They made it a fun event and the athletes spent much time in the lobby afterwards taking pictures and signing autographs for hundreds of excited future gymnasts. End result was over 8,000 in attendance. I initially went to take my daughter who is 9 and has participated in gymnastics for 5 years, but I left searching for season tickets for my family. Wrestling can do this too.
