Next Friday - January 19th - Arizona State @ Little Rock

According to the WrestleStat dual comparison feature they show Little Rock will defeat Arizona State 17-16 and that's with ASU's Richard Figueroa starting at 125 lbs.   He hasn't competed since Dec. 29th at the Midlands tournament where he was injured.

Is this a major turning/inflection point in wrestling?  Is A-LR on their way to defeating PSU in a few years?  What odds is Wkn giving?  Are all Iowa athletes betting the LR line?

I don't know the answers to your smart-alec questions here but IF Little Rock does, in fact, beat Arizona State next Friday it would be the first time they have beaten a PAC 12 wrestling team that isn't named Cal State University at Bakersfield.  Little Rock has beaten CSUB twice in the 4 1/2 years since they started their wrestling team.  But CSUB is the ONLY PAC 12 wrestling team that Little Rock has defeated in those 4 1/2 years.

We'll wait and see what happens...  Fair?

Absolutely.  I'm not suggesting that Little Rock WILL beat Arizona State.  After all WrestleStat's dual comparison's predicitons are usually worse then the nightly weatherman's predictions.

You're stupid.

when did Little Rock go and get good?

They are steadily improving while ASU is steadily declining. They are meeting somewhere in the middle of 5 points either way.  Wondering if Figs will go this match.... in all fairness they have had some injuries... and some big holes.

Current trajectory they'll pass Penn St (steady state not improving) in maybe 5.5 year, Wkn can check the math.

If those are the lineups the teams throw out there, then it should be a close dual.  I don't necessarily agree with a LR major at 141, and I could see ASU getting bonus at 149 and maybe 157.  And who knows if Vasquez will be back or when?

They made a bigger jump this year so I am going with 5.25 years.

If you don't like wrestlestat, why do you keep using them in your postings? How about just your own predictions?

Speaking of predictions, will CSUB still be around after this year?

I would think that either ASU or Little Rock (or both) will produce a story on this dual sometime between now and next Friday.  Maybe the lineups for each team will be detailed then.   I don't expect Figueroa will be in the lineup (probably Mascarenas at 125 for ASU) and I would think Ruiz will be in the lineup for ASU at 165 rather than Wilner.

Thats why Wkn needs to check the math, might be 5.127 but if PSU trends down ....  🤷‍♀️

I think it's great that they allow dim-witted 3rd graders to post here.

And you're still a West Coast Dan The Man.

You legitimately use Wrestlestat on most posts then complain because you don't understand how Wrestlestat actually works.  Ergo, you're an idiot.

LR won 18-15.  ASU didn't get any bonus points from their top 5 ranked guys at 149, 157, and 285, even though they all had unranked opponents (credit to LR).  Negron was also out at 184, where ASU slid a 174 pounder in for him who lost by major.  Kudos to LR, bad look for ASU.

According to the dim-witted 3rd grader here just about EVERYONE is "an idiot".   Someone who repeatedly goes around calling numerous others "an idiot" is someone with a GIGANTIC inferiority complex.   Also the word PATHETIC springs to mind.

Now if I only had a million dollars for every time that this GIGANTIC TOOL has called someone on this forum an idiot.................  All he really has to do to see "an idiot" is look into any mirror.  Any mirror will do.

Well you're not just an idiot, but a broke one.

Thank you for being wrong again, West Coast Dan The Man.

Also... picking on a 'so-called' 3rd grader gets you off there, bud?  Gross.
