Hutmacher is unimpressive; Kueter is tiny

Recommended Posts

Hutmacher was huge but had zero gas tank.  Unless he improves that significantly I don't see him as a AA threat.

Kueter only weighed in at 220 pounds.  I doubt he'll be able to add much good weight while he gets into wrestling shape.  Maybe he can be the next Anthony Cassar?

He maybe have taken a ton of shot but he also could have gotten smuthered under neath. Being in on 285lbs Hut's legs would not have been a good strategy for Kueter.

It was a good strategy for the 235 pound less talented Hill.  Ben Kueter knows what to when he gets to a leg.  He may have gotten stuffed a couple times but I'm sure a couple of his shots would've connected

I'm sure he would but don't think it'd be living on the Masher's legs.

Well I do. Maybe not the first period while he wears him down.  After that Ben would be on the move

Hill didnt use the "living on his legs" strategy. Kueter using the "living on his legs" strategy would have been very bad had he wrestled.

Wear him out froma distance, make Hutch gas then out slick him for an outside takedown is what would have worked, and what worked for Hill. Big difference buddy.

Living on his legs assumes hes gridning shot after shot being under him. Thats not what would work. Being on his feet and taking slick outside shots (like the one Hill did for the takedown) after gassing gour opponent out is what would work. So yes you are wrong.

In the post you just quoted of mine I said Ben would gas him out in the first and then BK would be on the move getting to his leg attacks thereafter.  You pretty much just agreed with me.

He can still live on the legs in the 2nd and 3rd period. So no, I am not wrong.

Come March, he will be ready.

I think this is true of Hutmacker and Keuter. Unsure which you’re talking about but Keuter is a known quantity with a u20 world title and Hutmacker clearly has the pedigree he just needs to get in shape, knock the rust off, and get beat up and coached up by tervel dlagnev for a couple months

No youre wrong. Again the straegty you propose of Kueter "living" on Hutch's legs would not work. It would also gas Kueter out due to being stuck under a full 285lber giving Hutch the opportunity to smuther Kueter underneath and spin behind. Scoring a slick outside shot like Hill did IS NOT LIVING ON HUTCH'S LEGS. SO YOU ARE WRONG.

BOARD QUESTION: Can I Say That I Was a Stand-Up Comedian?

About ten years ago, I decided to do an open mic at a comedy club in Myrtle Beach. I had about 20 minutes of “A” material and wanted to see how an audience of humans responded to it. Turns out, I was more nervous about this than at any time I spent arguing in court. I drank a couple of beers and had a Dad-at-your-kid’s-birthday-party-at-your-ex-wife’s-house buzz going.

When it was my turn, I went with my duck call joke, and the crowd roared. I did bits about GPS, zombies, the Golden Age of Hollywood monsters, why my doctor pissed me off and some other things. I made fun of North Carolina. I was killing it.

After ten minutes, though, I drew a blank.

Instead of signing off with something like, “I hate you all” or “I have an urgent desire to be alone,” I told a joke about ****jobs on porn sites. Well, the manager had told all of us beforehand that we couldn’t go blue. From the stage, I noticed that same guy running up at me like Peter Griffin at a concert. I hurried up with the punchline before he snatched the microphone away.

So, my first question is this: Can I say that I was a stand-up comedian without further explanation? My second question is whether I can put the following on a resume:

JOB: Stand-up Comedian

DATES:  January 17, 2013 at 9:43 pm (Eastern) to January 17, 2013 at 9:53 pm (Eastern)

EMPLOYER:  The Comedy Cabana, 9588 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC

PERSON TO CONTACT:  I would rather that you not contact them.

REASON FOR LEAVING:  I told a dirty joke.
