One thing I found interesting was I’m not sure I’ve seen it confirmed that DeSanto was kicked off the team at Drexel, but Spencer does say that here. Says he might be his best friend. Contract with HWC is through 2028. Said he liked coaching at the Soldier Salute but wouldn’t commit to coaching when he’s done wrestling. Even though I watched Spencer Lee wrestle here in high school in the WPIAL, and thought I knew his story, but there were definitely some details in this interview that were new to me. Plus, he comes across as an intelligent guy who knows what he is about. Great interview. I'm always impressed by people who can totally dedicate themselves to something, it doesn't have to be wrestling, it could be music or something else, but that drive to continually put the work in in practice and training is remarkable. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
