Bo Nickal on Joe Rogan

Seems like the mainstream media is really picking up on Bo. First he's on Jocko's podcast, now Joe Rogan's. Could be a fun listen for anyone as they touch on wrestling, how important it is for MMA, and Bo's approach to fighting considering his skills. I enjoyed the podcast. As usual, Joe does his bet to insert his repetitive political / covid views he forces into every podcast, but aside from that, good stuff.

What are Joe's political views?

Every podcast, no matter what they're discussing, somehow turns into Rogan discussing Joey B and how he's dying / can't speak, and a 30 minute rant about COVID lockdowns and vaccines. Every. Damn. Podcast. It's just a broken record and stale at this point, regardless of what your views are.

On a fun note, Bo does touch on doping in the sport and how he thinks Mohammadian was juiced to the gills the day he rag-dolled him and Snyder. That's the kinda shit I wanna listen to!

I'm not certain how either of those things are political.

I think ranting about the current president's competency and the government's reaction to the pandemic can certainly be considered political, but either way, it's repetitive and stale af for a podcast.

Have you considered how "political" your last couple of posts are?

I didn't say I'm for or against what Rogan's views are. I'm saying its annoying to hear the same thing every single podcast when he could be discussing idk... interesting topics about the guest. But go on.

Just not sure why you brought "politics" into this... oh, you probably disagree (though you never said.)

I get it.

Everyone knows JRE is a polarizing podcast because of the reasons I stated. It's still worth the listen because 70% of it is relevant to this forum (wrestling, MMA, training, Penn State, etc).

That was my guess.  Although "centered" is "far left" or "far right" depending on the listener.

Rogan is the #1 Podcaster in the world.   Polarizing?  Perhaps.  If you are sensitive.

I seriously don't think you listen to all of Rogans podcasts,  because he doesn't belabor most of what you said.  I listen daily and he doesn't go on about the Covid and vaccines for 30 minutes.

Bo isn't new to Joe's radar.  Joe has discussed him on several occasions with multiple guests.

He interviews people he finds interesting,  Rogan has guests from all sectors, entertinment, comedy, business, environmental, philosophy etc.  as well as political.   Theo Von, Shane Gillis, Elon Musk.  Askren,  Jocko, Cormier, Jordan Peterson, Bill Maher. Foret Gallante, Glen Villaneuve.  etc.

He extremely articulate in most areas.  Much of his content is taken from current events.  He talks about Biden because he's a babbling idiot who has some news worthy mishap on a daily basis.  He also talks about Trump becasue he's just the opposite.  For Instance Bo spoke about his day spent with Trump.

I've listened to JRE regularly. I know it's a great podcast. It's polarizing if you ask anyone who doesn't listen to it, but to state that he doesn't belabor the same broken record shit is just not true. It's why the media always talks shit about his podcast. I know Joe Biden is a bumbling idiot, but Rogan has the same talking points every time it's brought up and its stale. Not to mention his "news worthy mishap" was actually corrected by Jamie because Joe just recites bullshit media articles and clickbait when discussing said topics. COVID started in 2020 and he's talked about it in every single one of his podcasts since then. Broken record.

Lets keep the politics out of this forum, please.

Nickal is a far right wing Christian evangelist.  He's "Jesus-trained" like Marinelli, but more pushy about it.

Rogan is a shill and conspiracy theorist. Both of them are deeply uneducated or at best half educated.  Why would anyone get their news or opinions from these toxic figures?

If you think that Biden rambles, take a look at this.  It is common course for he who will not be named:

"Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it’s true! — but when you're a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are — nuclear is so powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right, who would have thought? — but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it’s four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us, this is horrible."

Huh? That would seem like a good thing these days.

Yep.  A couple of  great examples of "lets destroy a thread because I disagree with someone's views on religion, politics, society, or science."

Jerks.

You're the moron harping on what Joe's political views are. Maybe comment on Bo and the podcast?

Quick video talking about Bo starting up MMA

Pretty impressive he's improved his striking that much. Not sure I buy that he never trained it in the past considering his mom was involved in amateur boxing and trained at Jackson MMA, though. Still impressive.

Hopefully we get to see him against some top tier competition - I'd love to see him go with Khamzat Chimaev.

Now we're talkin..

Chimaev fight would be insane! I dream of such things.  Knowing that his mom did some boxing, me thinks he told a fib
