125s that are capable of winning a title

after going 0-2 at midlands, Jett Strickenberger bumped up to 133 against Columbia.  Not sure if that is temporary or permanent.  Rhoades has had a really tough start to the season.  If Titus can get down to 133, they could start Hillegas at 141 as well.

Of course I also missed the obvious fix reference so shame on me

If you fix it, it might be a single wrestler list.  Dare I say you might fix it on the fly.

It would be pretty wild if Fix drops to 125... would obviously become ranked number 1... makes the finals and loses to the 20 somethingth seed maintaining the chaotic nature of the weight class this year.

It would be for sure. It probably hurts OKST though at the NCAA tourney. Spratley may score more points in a crazy 125 than Witcraft could at 133...

Also on Stalemates podcast it was reported that Fix weighed in at 130 against NC State

Course its also been rumored/reported that he didn't so ...  🤷‍♀️

On Baschamania Willie said that “Fix is gonna try” to go 125

what wouldn't you do to avoid going 2-2-2-3-(2-8)

He's gonna be a meme if he doesn't get that title.

2-2-2-4*-(2-8)

But seriously I agree, I 100% get wanting to be an NCAA champ, but if he wins this will have such a big asterisk next to it, especially if he doesn’t stay at a relatively loaded 133 and goes to a more open 125. I get he wants to go 57kg but still

Yep McGee beat him in the consi finals.

I just feel like winning on the 5th attempt has to have an asterisk next to it. Like compared to these guys: https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/6001283-the-best-to-never-win-a-title-top-10-of-last-10-years plus others like Trenge Hazelwinkle Zaputil etc is Fix really any better or did he just get another shot. Gotta think if you gave some of those guys a 5th NCAA they’d have won too.
