Currently ranked #14 by Intermat, 9-0.  I think he's a bit small for 165, 157 is probably his more natural weight.  Is he a true AA contender?  A potential finalist?  Love the kid's pace...reminds me a bit of a cross between Nolf and Nick Lee.

Ambition is like a frog sitting on a Venus Flytrap. The flytrap can bite and bite, but it won't bother the frog because it only has little tiny plant teeth. But some other stuff could happen and it could be like ambition.

Show me another top-10 165 that certified below 165.

It was a decision between Haines or Messenbrink to 165.  Messenbrink goes up because he's the bigger wrestler.  He's not small for the weight, he won't be small for the weight, and this is just another dumb Cinnabon thread on a Penn State wrestler.

Allegedly very close friends, correct?

Most I know is Mitchell's dad was Keegan's coach at AWA so I'm sure they are very familiar with each other.  Coach Messenbrink deserves a lot of credit for developing what is now known as "funk wrestling".  One thing I love watching Mitchell do is letting opponents get in on a single leg and then working off his wizard.  It's a real work of art.

@Hammerlock3 I feel like I need to explain some of my modified terminology I developed throughout the years

whizzer = wizard

uchi mata = hoochie mama

o-soto-gari = Assault Gary

rear naked choke = rear naked clam jam

and when done correctly high crotch = the triple decker pecker wrecker

i apreciate the way this list vibes with the stupid practice of arguing what moves are named, as if they didn't occur naturally in different places. I know I just did that, shrug

I understand.  I come from a region where someone wins State's.  The State's is possessive but others win State

here is a funny variation, in wrestling we have "dual meets" which is fine, but we also have "duals" which makes no sense because dual is an adjective. we should have duels which is a noun.
