Greetings All,

Quickly put this together.  All 'Ratings' are via Wrestlestat and are just that - RATINGS.  I didn't use Wrestlestat's lineup as some of those guys aren't even listed on their rosters and are listed at different weights than on Wrestlestat...

That said... here you go.

#22 Campbell

165 - #54(157) Troy Nation - SR, 14W-7L, 3W-1L @ SOCON
174 - #31 Austin Murphy - SR, 0W-0L, (2W-1L @ SOCON 2021-22, R12 2020-21)
184 - #23 Caleb Hopkins - SR, 19W-10L, 0W-2L @ NCAA
197 - #16 Levi Hopkins - SR, 25W-10L, 1W-2L @ NCAA
285 - #13 Taye Ghadiali - SR, 27W-5L, 1W-2L @ NCAA

#24 Army

I think this is favoring Army a bit unfairly in a few weights.  I do think Zaccone at 133 and Rivera at 141 should be favored, despite the Wrestlestat algorythm favoring the other gent.  On the other end of the spectrum I don't see Murphy beating Pasiuk at 174.  I do think the Alaskan brothers Caleb and Levi Hopkins can push for bonus and that might be the separation that is needed for this.  Add in the Ghadiali is one of my sleepers for AA at 285 and that he might push for bonus (deckfall anyone?) and I do think Campbell ends up taking this one.  I will say one of the Hopkins gets the bonus, as does Pasiak.  That puts it at 16-13 heading into the HWT match and Ghadiali gets the fall.

Prediction: Campbell over Army 19-16

Today is the day ...

Just watched the dual.  Thought that David Taylor was actually a good commentator.  Much better than I would have thought.  Hopefully they give him more opportunities.

Every time I have heard him on the mic I have been satisfied.  Him, Burroughs, John Smith... the greats know how to communicate the game they have dedicated their lives to.

With the success he has had with M2 it help reinforce the idea that he would be an excellent HC at the D1 level.

I really enjoyed John Smith on the mike during the Olympic Games. He wasn't just narrating a match, he was coaching and analyzing as he watched. A lot of good information from him on options and technique and even frustrations during the matches.

For now: Go Camels! Home of a good team and the greatest wrestling mat around.

Nice to see them take Army 24-9.

Initial reactions to this event are kudos to both Army and Campbell. The pageantry and production brought a lot of attention to two programs that are not typically seen as "must-watch." The teams did a great job marketing the event through Twitter, and both seemed to fully buy in to promoting something that is unique to the sport of wrestling. Also, a lot of credit must be given to Coach Sentes, as Campbell has not seemed to lose a step with the departure of Kolat. The Camels came to wrestle and had some sharp-looking singlets. Hopefully, more lesser-talked-about programs can attempt to replicate and add their own twist to something like this event.

Rivera is dropping from 149 to 141 and Hanna isn't listed on the roster - per the official roster list.

Well looks like you were right about Rivera starting.

Appears that Hanna is redshirting as a fifth year student, he wrestled unattached at the Southeast Open

A dead clock with two hands is correct twice a day.

Everything I had was speculative.

Hanna taking the Olympic year to compete for the Bahamas, allegedly.

Ha, I was watching the dual as I wrote that but hadn’t gotten to 141 yet.  But then did hear Shane Sparks say that during 141.  He wasn’t qualified for an official ORS was he, he’s just taking a “regular” redshirt to train for the Olympics?
