Tommy Tuberville - Alabama, get off your a**

Tommy Tuberville R-AL needs to stop trying to connect the US military, in our current world state of affairs, with human reproduction arguments. It's a stretch that doesn't make sense. Tommy - Stop trying to block what we need.

We need the leadership of the US military to be sorted out... right now. We don't want it, we need it.

Let's get military leadership solidified.

Put aside the human reproduction arguments that have been there for decades and will still be there when we soon get back to them. We need to focus on a higher priority right now.

He’s not blocking anything except the unanimous consent option to combine multiple votes into one.  They can still vote for each promotion.  And I applaud his efforts.  The “stretch” is thinking that it in anyway affects the operation of the military.  If a commander falls in battle, they don’t wait for someone to vote the next one in.  “Acting” commanders are found throughout the military.

You say he is "not blocking anything except" - then mention the very thing he is blocking. That is a bird brain comment. Just be honest here. He is 100% blocking.

Another bird brain comment. The "they can still vote for each promotion" would be a process that will likely take at least a year. Far too long to get our military squared away in the face of what we've got going on right now in the world. Ukraine, Israel, and even larger conflicts loom.

Getting the right people in the right positions in the military is important. Now as important as ever. Don't give me that "acting" BS. We don't need accidental leaders; we need real ones.

Now is NOT the time to try to tie that effort to ongoing human reproduction disagreements, those disagreements aren't going away anytime soon.

While we fiddle around, places burn. We're better than that.

It's only Tuberville - everyone else understands that. He's got to get off his a** and act.

How do we know GWN doesn't live in Hawaii?  He always comes on here very late at night.  It just doesn't feel like he lives in Canada eh.  🤔

I'm sorry - did you ask me a question? No, I do not live in Hawaii. I live in Minnesota. I would have answered that question directly if you had just asked me. Online bullshit works for a lot of people, not for me. Just be direct with me and I'll respond accordingly - no bullshit.

If you feel the need to start a fight with me - don't hide behind BS. Just be brave and say what you have to say.

You don’t understand what you’re talking about.

Can you describe one thing the military could do better if Tuberville ceased his objection?

Ummm.. is this a joke? The thread already explains it in detail.

Are you using some Chatbot to create your posts? So dumb.

Really, so dumb on your part.

From a previous post, whose uniform did you wear?

If you want to take a stand, take a stand. Otherwise feel free to stop contributing and just stop.

So you can’t, huh?  But I knew that, of course.

For starters, NORAD will soon be commanded by a Canadian instead of an American, without a Senate-approved replacement. There are a couple of other very important positions with similar situations.

We have quite a few O-6s manning O-7 and O-8 positions in other countries where rank is actually quite important in terms of dealing with foreign counterparts.
