Jim Jordan & Dennis Hastert

peanut

Recommended Posts

As many of you are aware, Jim Jordan -- former Wisconsin wrestler and former Ohio State assistant coach -- is reportedly a leading contender to be the next Speaker of the House. If Jordan becomes the next Speaker, he would the first former wrestling coach to be the Speaker since Dennis Hastert, who handed the gavel over to Nancy Pelosi in January 2007. It would truly be historic for two former wrestling coaches to reach such levels of power within just a 17 year span.

Just a reminder, this is a wrestling forum. There should not be any political discussion here. Thank you.

Then why did you post about politics with the thinnest veil of wrestling?

Seems like you're focusing on the wrong aspect of their personas. Not that two wrestling coaches reached that level within such and such a period of time because THAT is remarkable. It isn't. The thing these two guys have in common is that they are scumbags. Not something to celebrate in our community or nationally.

Gee,  who would have guessed,  but it looks like picking a Speaker is going to be yet another debacle for the Investigation Party of America.

I love it!

Owner of over two decades of the most dangerous words on the internet!  In fact, during the short life of this forum, me's culture has been cancelled three times on this very site!

His wrestling was almost as phony as he is.  Although I'm guessing the academicians who believed his wrestling are the same ones that make up the majority of his base.

I see that discussions such as this are taking place elsewhere, too.   I reluctantly share the following thread, merely so that folks can see for themselves what's being said outside of the wrestling community (and quite possibly by saboteurs who miss having a speaker who cow-tows to the uniparty that's increasingly bankrupted the USA while enriching beltway bandit$):

A year after I graduated HS, I found out one of the assistants was a pedophile that preyed on the middle school where he taught.  He got what amounted to a life sentence.  So many of us missed the signs and none of my teammates were victims (to my knowledge).  If I had known anything, I would have reported.  Jordan knew and he did jack and squat.  So he can fck off forever on that basis alone.

Exactly...people make up a narrative in their mind based on politics.  No one on here has a freaking clue what actually happened and even if presented with evidence that Jordan did or didn't say something people wouldn't believe it because he is a deplorable R.  SMH....

His politics have nothing to do with being a terrible human.  When more than one wrestler makes an accusation regarding the team doctor and reporting it then asst coach Jordan, I am willing to give some benefit of the doubt.  It takes a lot of courage for someone in a combat sport to admit being assaulted.  I have more reason to believe the accusers than not.

No clue what happened?  The accounting of abuse is out there for all to see.  Everyone knew about it BUT Jordan.

This has been covered, on this site.  How about the words directly from victims, stating that he knew .  Are we going to consider that strong enough, or are we just going to call them liars?
