Is Iowa's schedule a joke?

Five duals and the B1G and NCAA tournaments?

That looks like a partial Big 10 schedule.  The social media director must have had to leave early or something.

You really thought this was their whole schedule?

I did not, but to post a partial schedule is, well, stupid.

I certainly did.  You knew it wasn't their full schedule, but then had to ask if it were a joke.  Enough negativity in this world, C'mon man.

I didn't know that, or I wouldn't have asked.  Sometimes you have to accept what people say they mean, rather than assume whatever you want.  With all the nonsense going on within their program, anything could be possible.  Maybe they didn't want to wrestle the first semester with all those suspended guys missing.  Maybe, like UNI, they lost their wrestling facility and have to scramble to find another place (that's a joke, by the way).  I don't follow Iowa wrestling after I was booted from the cesspool for (AFAIK) questioning Spencer Lee's godliness.

The suspended guys won't make a huge difference, except probably at heavy.  Other than (supposedly) one of them, they won't be coming back second semester anyway.

I acknowledge your jest, but Iowa is building a new facility anyway, which may not have been able to happen without Rob Koll.  (Just ask him!)

How dare you question Spencer's godliness.  What was the result last time he and Vito tangled? 😉

Expect little activity from the big boys prior to conference duals this year. There will be an increased focus on 1) get through finals 2) senior nats.

Enjoy the holidays and expect some headscratching January results from marquee wrestlers while shaking off the folkstyle rust.

i am an idiot on the internet

they're on Oklahoma State's schedule as usual, late February, which is also not listed in the current Iowa schedule.

They are posting the matches they will actually wrestle.

All the others they will "Pull a Spencer" and not show up. So, why put them on the schedule?

No Wartburg duals to open the season with some wins?

It's actually usually Iowa community college teams.

I can never figure out how they are always shutouts.

I'm disappointed Iowa won't wrestle Mizzou.  Seems as if this would be a logical dual for both schools.  That being said, Penn State doesn't seem to be in a big hurry to wrestle Mizzou either.

I know Brain Smith would love to add either team to his schedule.
