How do you know someone lost an argument?

Why does anyone need a cue when someone has lost an argument!?

I just present the facts vis a vis the other presenting no facts and I know who won.

Same when I'm wrong.

Does anyone really ever win or lose an argument when nothing is actually won or lost?

"Arguments to the human mind are like a war of words – we’ll hurt people, end friendships, and even create enemies to win them and get our sense of superiority. However, unlike a real war of guns and grenades, arguments have no spoils. There is no land to be won, no gold to take, and no people to conquer."

Thanks for the examples GWN and Plasi...

The name calling is the biggest one.  Paradoxically, it is usually to insult the intelligence of the person who vanquished you.

Let's start a list:

Resorts to name calling

Attacks the source of information versus the actual content

Keeps repeating the same stupid phrases meant to insult over and over and over....

This list is bullshit.  What an idiot!!

I officially quit the game after nearly a lifetime of playing it the second week of June.

Replaced it with disc golf,  and has been the best thing I've done in a long time.
