My Version Of The Tattle

Recommended Posts

The best part is that Clinton was never charged,  while inmate #PO#1135809 has 91 indictments under his belt!

Charged and Indicted are not interchangeable...

I get what you're saying.

Precisely why I always say I'm not an attorney,  and nor do I ever try to play one in the classroom or on the internet.

It's irrelevant to the video though and what "judge" Winebox had to say in 2016.

Exactly,  which makes my statement not terribly far off.

Inmate #PO1135809 had both happen to him.  91 times in one example.

Just because something does not go the way you expect it to does not mean it is partisan. I suppose the same is true about the Supreme Court, right?

Yes I realize this isn't a checkmate moment but c'mon quit being so damn combative all the time. My Side vs Your Side is exactly what's wrong with this damn country. It's not teams.

We all vote. Sometimes what we vote for isn't selected. We have a social contract to abide by the winning side and we move on. We may not like it, but we accept it.

Once we do not accept what the democracy has stated is when the social contract is broken. Don't break the social contract because you know what happens next and it sucks for all of us.

It was Trump's DOJ.  Technically, much of it still is .  Absolute straight face.

Which is also filled with Democrats and Republicans.

Those of us who don't work in legal fields,  nor know how the professional application of law and justice works need to stop spreading this fuel to the fire that the entire system is corrupt and partisan.  It's just continuing to fuel these terrorists among us.

y'all are saying, with a straight face, that hillary is guilty of nothing?

that's what you're going with?

there's nothing that she should/could be indicted for?

nonsense.

I'll agree that the Clintons were and are weasels, but the fact remains that she never was charged and/or indicted.

A good amount that has been assertec about her is also not true, which has deliberately misled people to believe that she did more than what she did. Another classic example of something being "true enough" or "plausible." Too often,  that is passing for truth and fact today.

"the fact remains that she never was charged and/or indicted."

that's what i have a problem with. that's my point.

Benghazi, the Steele Dossier, Haiti, Epstein, the body count, etc, etc

and....nothin'.

the entire point is that the charges on Trump may well indeed be justified, but nothing on Hillary is a joke.

ffs, the NY AG is prosecuting on the gd Stormy Daniels bs but Hillary, who scammed a country out of millions during a natural disaster is teflon?

She is definitely not guilty in any legal context because she was not charged or indicted for any crime whatsoever.  People can and will use the internet rumors they have swallowed whole and unfiltered over the years to declare her guilty without trial or even evidence solid enough to make it into a court of law.  Best of luck with this 7+ years of history that allegedly occurred 3 administrations ago.

I agree...but only if what you said applies to EVERYONE Plasi...not just those that you didn't vote for.

We ALL have swallowed internet rumors and other things read on social media...including myself and yourself...the problem is the lens in which people choose to look through when reading/watching those things is where the divergence comes into play.  People on both sides do it...some A LOT more than others.

My whole thing is, and I'll just pick on you even though you know I do like you Plasi, your enjoyment when the rumors came out that Trump may be charged, and statements you made about Trump BEFORE he was indicted would not mirror those said about Hillary...is that an accurate statement?  Also, most people that are complaining about Trump, not all but most, aren't defending Trump as a person, but rather the complete hypocrisy of the whole thing.

Not sure what you are saying about me, but I have not declared Trump guilty for any of the 91 or so charges for which he is indicted.  I do enjoy his journey to justice.

I think what BigBrog was asking was would you be enjoying Hillary's journey to justice just as much if that was her lot?    The answer based on your statements on these boards would be NO.   You have not declared Trump guilty but you have done everything short of that, including your last sentence, "I do enjoy his journey to justice".   That means you think he is guilty and deserves whatever conviction he gets.   Do you feel the same about Hillary?   That is the question.

A two tiered justice system is no justice system.   Certainly not for a civilized society.  Lady Justice is blindfolded for a reason.

Benghazi was extensively looked into and what was concluded is exactly what we all witnessed:  terrorists attacked Americans and Hillary Clinton wasn't at their side.

The Steele Dossier?  Was that illegal?

What about Epstein?  I know that inmate #PO1135809 had more association with him than did Hillary.

Not remembering Haiti nor "the body count," but I suspect it's another big nothing.
