Poland this weekend...

Daton Fix at 57 KG.

Anyone think he might head down to 125 for next season?  Would that even make sense for the lineup?  Spratley to 133 for a season?

Speculation is "fine" and "all good."

UPDATE

USA Wrestling now lists Daton Fix as being registered to compete in Poland at 61 kilograms. But that's fine. This blog was premised on offseason speculation so that's all fine.

This was not the first time, nor will it be the last, that we've written a speculative article based on tournament registration info that was later changed or updated. All good, though, and best of luck to Daton and everyone competing in Poland!

No Spencer Lee.

A great way to duck Vito while claiming he isn't avoiding him.

When has Fix ever duck anyone and is it still ducking if he goes 61?

After being rag dolled by Vito and then watching him tear up the guy he could never beat he is ready to try ANY weight to avoid a repeat.

Huh?  So is he going 157 this year?  OSU has a hole there.

Sorry Kozak. Pretty certain none of these folks think I'm,' boots on the ground' reporting. I'll be sure to quote my source moving forward. Mea culpa...

Much better than quoting would be just to link to the original source.

I prefer the quote. Then you don't need to hit another link. It's right there. But I do appreciate both quotes and links here.

If you quote, then you deprive the source creator that additional hit to his/her web page.  It's not about what is convenient to you, the reader:  it's
about what is appropriate compensation for the use of someone else's work.

Here's a policy from a triathlon forum I frequent:

Quote

Linking/sharing copyrighted material. If you want to share information you've found on another site, please only post a snippet of the article; do not post the article in it's entirely. Always provide a link to the original article, whether you are quoting a snippet (and that's all you want/need) or whether you wish to discuss the entire article.

Material which violates copyright law - if you post a link to files/videos/downloads/etc. that represent a copyright violation (such as a YouTube video or Torrent file of the IM Hawaii NBC broadcast) or request such material, you're account will be terminated.

The owner/moderator takes this very seriously.
