Election and Jan 6 charges

Recommended Posts

Bringing in Kushner means they’ve worked their way up to the tip top, right at the right hip of Trump.

Two questions I have about this development. 1) Did they get him to talk about the investment from the Saudi Sovereign fund; 2) who indicts first..Willis in GA or Smith in DC?

The tip top of what? I think we need to go back and investigate the massive failure of the Capital Police , the FBI and whomever was calling the shots going into Jan. 6 th. How did so many top notch law enforcement agencies get it so wrong. It just doesn't add up.

Well….the people who have in fact actually gone back and investigated, and the testimony and evidence (in large majority from Republican officials) that seems to have come about from the investigation, points to what went wrong was the person at the head of the branch responsible for law enforcement at the time 🤷🏻‍♂️

So the investigation said the FBI and the Capital Police did a great job? Really. So who was the person at the head of the branch. Wray or Pelosi?

Two questions:

1)Where did I say the investigation said they did ‘great job’?

2) To go back to the basic civics questions being discussed in the other thread, here is a good, very basic fundamental question in regards to our form of government: What branch of government is responsible for law enforcement, and who is the top elected official of that branch?   Study up and learn the answer to that question, and that will help you come to the answer you seek.

Looks like Paul Irving ,the sergeant -at- arms was asked by the Capital Police days in advance  for extra security . He refused to act upon it. I'm sure had the FBI got it right they could have persuaded Paul Irving to get the needed security. So maybe if you had studied up you would have known that.

How much money are they funneling to Trump through LIV?  I know Trump selling the shit out of that endeavor.  And hosting events at his magnificent properties.  Money laundering operation.  Way more blatantly obvious than Ukraine or China and the Bidens.

Trump offered all the security necessary but it was turned down by polosi, documented fact.  The crowd was infused with Feds:

Look for upcoming Tucker Carlson interview with Steven Sund, former Capital Police Chief.

Maybe if Wrestlingrasta would have studied up he would have known that.

Oh I’ve studied plenty. I think where maybe I differ from some in this thread is that I don’t give a lot of weight to anything Tucker is presenting. It’s been well beyond documented as to why no one should. Granted that was in court of law, not Twitter,….but still.

Does it bother you when you mischaracterize what Tucker said?

I guess to answer that question, you’ll have to point to where I said something ‘Tucker said’.  All I said was I don’t give anything he says much weight.

That wasn’t a very good effort. Try again.

Start with what is documented in a court of law.

Speaking of studying, have you solved that whole “who is the head of the executive branch” puzzle yet?

You haven’t read enough on the subject.

I didn’t say you documented anything, did I?

The head of the executive branch had no say in the security on Jan . 6th. I know you are well aware of that. Paul Irving the sergeant-at-arms and Nancy Pelosi had that responsibility. Of course, you knew that.

So….let me get this straight….the President of the United States has ‘no say’ in law enforcement securing the Capitol?  Is that what you are saying?

Why then, did pretty much everyone on his staff, in the White House, Capitol, and defense leadership, urge him for hours to give his ‘say’ while he sat on the couch and watched.

And if you’re claim is that Pelosi, (who I’ll give you I am in no way a fan) did nothing, how do you square with the video footage of her working the phones, working the problem?

Lastly, why are all of these Republican officials who disagree with Pelosi in almost every single way, and who were closer to this whole thing than you or me or anyone here talking about it, totally and completely disagree with your view?

I think this is the point where matscout should come in with one of his bits about people blinding buying what their favorite news outlet sells them.

Obviously you do not have a military background. The National guard (which my son was in for 10 years } is not a fast reaction or strike group. They need advance notice if they are to be utilized . Like a day or two in advance . The National Guard is made up people who work other jobs and have other responsibilities and may be hours away from their Armory. On the other hand the Army's 504th which my son belongs to now is a fast strike operation. I have been talking about the preparation leading up to Jan. 6th. In order for the Natonial Guard to be properly utilized they would have been notified days in advance and been deployed at the Capital building early in the morning Jan. 6th.,. So I am not talking about after the fact. It really was to late after the Capital was breached.
