Who denied its existence?  You are denying that you know nothing about guns.  You can't even describe guns based on your woke dictionary definition.

The person I quoted.  Do you also deny the existence of the definition I copied and pasted from the dictionary?

If you take the hundreds of mass shootings with handguns and compare them to the several with AR’s each year, there are far, far more deaths by the former.

Yes, you’ll hear about the few mass shootings with AR’s each year, while you don’t hear a peep about the 3-4 each week using 9mm’s in Chicago alone. Pretty sure you were just saying heart issues in healthy young men aren’t any more prevalent, they’re just being reported on more. That reasoning works for you there, but not here?

I most certainly did not say that. I challenged someone who made the claim that cardiac arrest had both increased at an alarming rate, and implied it was due to a COVID booster shot, in the laziest way possible to not be so lazy.

Interesting thing about the ‘manifesto’ is the killers family and the victims families are working together to keep it under wraps.  Leads me to believe something with the culture in that school is a little less than…….gods way.

I don't think so. I think the victims families are being gracious. They are trying to protect the shooters family from the retribution that would come from the release of the manifesto.

I agree with this. I also believe there are sporting ventures using these weapons that do not include killing animals either. And I believe they are legitimate reasons to own.

What do you believe is a relative time frame for me to be able to apply to own one of these, to actually receiving one of these?  When we combine my right to own with societies duty to protect its people, what do you think is a reasonable wait time?

Good question Rasta...I personally don't really care how long it takes to receive it; however, I do understand that a "reasonable" timeframe should be expected.  I also would want to know the reason for the wait and what information is being looked at before approval is made.  If the wait was just to wait, then maybe a day or two should do it.  I understand why some think this will help if someone with mental instabilities is all cranked up and wants to go shoot up a place may calm down if they can't get a weapon right away, but I would think that any person wanting to do ill will to others would take that piece into consideration, so it just isn't a clear and cut thing.  Again, personally I wouldn't have a problem if I had to wait a week if I were to try and purchase an AR.

Show me the last time some mass murderer bought a non-military grade look alike rifle and went on a murderous spree within one day - two days.  It should take as long as it takes to run the card, verify the check, or count the cash.

And if WKN is reading, I saw a doctor report on a study by the Department of Defense that showed about a 250% increase in myocarditis among soldiers who took the vaccine.  European countries are much more open about reporting their findings than the U.S.

I think this is the study you are referring to (if not, let me know):

https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamacardiology/fullarticle/2781601

It shows the expected rate of male military incidence as 0 to 8, with the observed rate at 19, fitting your 250%. The rate among female military members was zero, which would be lower than expected.

you know that's NOT what they are talking about.

the post you replied to said 'hurt a citizen'

and the video shows people burning cities...not flags.

Huh? Are we pretending that this was not among the list of grievous offenses outlined in his song's lyrics?

See the bolded, underlined and italicized bit:

Sucker punch somebody on a sidewalk
Carjack an old lady at a red light
Pull a gun on the owner of a liquor store
Ya think it's cool, well, act a fool if ya like
Cuss out a cop, spit in his face
Stomp on the flag and light it up
Yeah, ya think you're tough
Well, try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
Around here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town

Annndddd???

So, you have no problem with someone stomping on and burning a flag...a lot of others do have a problem with it and seeing it causes a visceral response.  You do you, but don't sit there on your moral pedestal telling people how to feel or act towards such a cowardly act...same with cussing out a cop and/or spitting on them, etc.  You don't like it don't go to a small town and don't listen to the song...and subsequently I would expect you wouldn't listen to a lot of the rap songs either.

Le Duke :I'm not sure were you're from but all he is saying is don't try your woke, unpatriotic ,criminal behavior in our town.  Great song its top 10 in billboard 100. its also number 2 on I-tunes. You do know the mob that lynched the black man was orchestrated by the democratic Ku Klux Klan.

No, I don't, because I actually believe in what that flag stands for and if someone has a grievance with America so strong that they feel compelled to do such a thing, maybe they have something worth talking about, and maybe I should listen.

Dissent is patriotic.

Or they'll take "justice" into their own hands, again?

Nothing more patriotic, anti-woke and perfectly just than subverting the constitution and rights of an individual by beating him to death with a hammer then hanging his body from a courthouse. /s

I get with what you are saying here.  And while I don't necessarily always agree with the concept of side stepping our justice system and taking the law into one's own hands, I truly understand how people are feeling in regard to not seeing justice happen for burring of flags, rioting, disrespecting and assaulting police, etc. and what they want to do about it.  Love the sentiment of the song in that the community looks out for each other to do what is right based on their beliefs.

Plas, you on board for gun violence b/c someone looked at you wrong. (as said in every rap song)

No and that is not in every rap song.  I can say that with authority because it is not in Lil Wayne's B#$@ Love Me.  That one is pornographic and misogynist, but not violent.

So La Duke do you have grievance with America so strong that it would compel you to burn the American Flag ?

I don’t, no.

But if someone else did, it wouldn’t offend me in the slightest. If anything, it should result in people tuning in to what those people have to say. Based on the fact that people think it’s OK to try to kick the person’s ass, or worse, they obviously believe pretty strongly that America is off course, and are willing to bear that burden despite the risks. Plenty of Vietnam veterans who served honorably burned flags after they were discharged and they had very legitimate points to make.

So what you’re saying is, it’s people’s willingness to kick someone’s ass for burning the flag that gives it any meaning, because without the asskicking, it would be little more than an inconsequential temper tantrum?
