Husker_Du
i don't know why i was thinking about this last night but... just after the war broke out a ton of companies pulled out of russia. but part of the Russian/China platform is nationalism. with international corporations (esp in food and beverage) pulling out, doesn't that open markets domestically for RUS owned businesses? isn't that exactly what Russia wants? They don't have the ability to build factories any more. Most food preparation machinery has ICs that will fall under dual use. Machine tools are unavailable, so they can't even build their own. Enough to be allowed to be used to develop Russian civilian businesses? They are taking the antilock braking chips out of auto lines to use in the defense industry. Le duke
I don’t believe that for a minute. Here’s a (open source) picture of a vehicle stolen from a Russian private citizen and modified for military use by Russian conscripts. There are plenty of examples of this. You’re telling me you don’t believe they are having trouble sourcing and producing military equipment, when THIS is happening?
