pretty impressive job by their staff. I hope they can pick up another stud or two.

Agree... they have been building. Messenbrink in the lineup will be good. Wish they would have went Pac-12 - makes more sense.

The interesting thing about Gaitan is that CBU announced that he actually "signed" last year on the signing day...not just committed.

I predict they will get at least one more top 100 before the end of the year

They applied for PAC-12 and were rejected I believe.

Pretty sure the Pac-12 wouldn't accept California Baptist (they do not like being called Cal Baptist, even though I know I'm fighting a losing battle, I'm going to bring that up) due to their being a religious institution affiliated with an organization that rejects LGBT beliefs (please do NOT argue over that can of worms I just mentioned). The conference has not had any members, including affiliates, who are religiously-affiliated since Gonzaga and Portland moved their baseball teams to their all-sports conference, the West Coast Conference, in 1995.

Willie has this thing on Twitter w/ Mason (I have no idea how serious it is, I'm not sure of their relationship) about how Willie, if he was in charge of starting a program, could have it top 20 w/in 5 years.

It's pretty funny how many people Think they can get that done...You play with yourself too much if you think you can

Pretty sure most gents don't even need to think about it for it to happen.

Next thing you know... 'Honey!  It's time!'
