So he answered three questions there for us, Mr Stalrocci did there...

1 - He is considering not even coming back.

2 - He is dropping to 165 if he comes back.

3 - He is running from Amine (174).

Why would Amine go 174?  He's been 165 all 4 years so far, and he just beat Griffith at natties.  Griffith should bump up, and when he does he'll be lucky to AA at 174.

Griffith should AA easy at 174, and I’d probably take him over anyone but Starocci.

Why would he go 174?  His Uncle wrote a check that he is going to cash.

I agree Griffith to 174 makes more sense, FWIW, but Amine beating him at NCAAs has nothing to do with it.

Edit: Also, ThugMassa G went 174lbs while weighing in at 170 for most meets.  What does being a 165lber have to do with it?

He's placed progressively lower at 165.  1st, then 2nd, now 5th.  It's hard to see any improvement from him, and I don't think bumping up a weight class will help.

You’re right, O’Toole isn’t very good I can’t believe he keeps winning 165.

O’Toole of course wasn’t in the bracket when Griffith won it, and of the 3 other guys that finished ahead of him this year, 2 of them weren’t in the bracket last year

Sammy Sasso majored Starocci when CS was a freshman.  He's the only one to bonus Starocci during high school

Good call. All this time I had it in my head that Pletcher lit Starocci up in high school but you're right, it was Sasso

He should be trying to run down Sasso and Coy.

Funny enough... they could conceivably meet.

Sasso could go 157 next season, right?

Let's say he does and ends up winning, which is possible.

Let's say he then makes a go for the Olympics.  He isn't going to drop to 65 KG (143.3lbs, or 13.7lbs lower) for OTT.

Both him and Stalrocci could be in the 74 KG bracket.

So is @flyingMixer saying Penn St has no chance of 2nd?  Wkn will be disappointed, I'm sure he has the data and tables to know there's a chance🙂
