BuckyBadger Posted April 26, 2023 Share Posted April 26, 2023 Nothing against Heflin, but it’s hard to see a scenario where the athletic department would get rid of Roselli because he wasn’t getting results and then turn around and hire the associate head coach who has been with the same underperforming program for over 5 years. Sounds like they really screwed this one up. Whoever mentioned earlier they should have waited until after the next Olympic cycle was right. Conspiracy theories starting here (by me), but could it be a matter of wanting to control the program more directly through donors rather than the coach himself.
