I don't know about his age, but I have surmised:

1) He's hard on one side of the abortion divide.

2) He does not like any implication that he abandoned his alma mater for thought to be greener pastures based on being a Metcalf fanboy.

3) He staunchly disagrees with any assertion that he is a blowhard.
