What is it about human nature …

… that leads people to revel more in the defeats of others, to be joyous in others misery …

… and to do this with more passion and energy than celebrating the victories and joys for those that did achieve their goals.

Many prefer to tear down others and those that support those ‘others.’

Pretty gross.  Pretty sad.  Many on this board exemplify this sad trait.  With no remorse.  No realization that it shows their true and sad nature.

I can name several posters that are happier with Lee's downfall, than they are happy for Ramos.

Some sick individuals.

It isn't the defeat of Spencer Lee that the masses are clamoring about as much as it is the combination of his legacy and perceived mishandling if various injuries by the Iowa staff - key being Iowa.

If Spencer Lee went anywhere else aside for the top few programs (PSU, tOSU, OSU, ISU, etc), people would be utterly devastated for him.

Are you missing the people criticizing Lee directly?

If he didn't go to Iowa to begin with, regardless of injury problems, he wouldn't be attacked or criticized in such a toxic nature to begin with.
