Things are hitting rock bottom in Stillwater and it is time to start a new era. 2 All-Americans is shameful for this team, especially when you consider the caliber of recruits they are getting. Their guys don't seem to progress.

This OKST thread sounds similar to an OSU thread...

The thing is, you don't fire John Smith. He has to retire.

The AD should give him a nudge in that direction, but you still let him go out on his own terms (kinda).

Who replaces him? I don't think you'll have a shortage of candidates who can perform at the same level they've been at recently and who want that job. Pendleton? Cunningham?

It is tough to follow a legend.

  • Semifinal - Vito Arujau (Cornell) 24-1 won by major decision over Daton Fix (Oklahoma State) 29-1 (MD 11-3)
  • Quarterfinal - Chris Foca (Cornell) 27-2 won by fall over Dustin Plott (Oklahoma State) 25-5 (Fall 1:54)
  • Cons. Round 3 - Jacob Cardenas (Cornell) 20-5 won by decision over Luke Surber (Oklahoma State) 23-10 (Dec 12-5)

Ouch.
