jchapman
Ramos-Lee semi vs final; Lee going for 4, Gable for 3; Owings dropping 2 weight classes on Vision Quest, Ramos? Craig Henning got screwed in the 2007 NCAA Finals.
Dark Energy
Ramos much younger. Lee had lost a few times unlike Gable.
Wrestleknownothing
Lee was equal parts dominant and vulnerable this year. Well myabe not equal. Drowning in data, but thirsting for knowledge

CHROMEBIRD
No. But it was completely unexpected to everyone, most of all Lee, who was looking ahead to a showdown with Glory.
Pinnacle
Upset of Gable was way bigger. Lee had 5 priors.
Jimmy Cinnabon
Lee also had 2 fewer ACLs than Gable
SocraTease
Not quite as dramatic but equally unexpected given that it occurred before the finals. I watched the PA State finals when Lee lost to DeSanto, denying Lee four undefeated titles. That was the high school equivalent of Gable vs. Owings. DeSanto was on a vision quest. Formally140
Not the same. At all. Gable was going to be undefeated in his career and had pinned his way through an ncaa tournament. Besides.. if you actually look into who Owinga and Ramos are.. they weren’t/aren’t scrubs off the street… at all

Getting so close to but being denied historic greatness not once, but twice does things to a person. It can change you for the worse (much worse) or better (much better). Let's hope Spencer gets through this and comes out of it a better person.

RYou
Interesting deja vu. HS - Lee was a 3x champion losing in the final of his 4th championship bout. NCAA - Lee was a 3x champion losing in the semi final going for his 4th title
