Who will be the first #1 seed to fall?

I think one of these sees their name in the consolation bracket when they go to the hotel Thursday night, in order of most to least likely:

Keck

Woods

Bonaccorsi

AOC

Who do you have beating Keck?  His path to the finals is fairly easy

*this message is endorsed by David Carr (2022) and Alex Marinelli (2019, 2021).

I can see Keck losing to Finesilver, Salazar, Pinto, and Coleman. There is a drop from Brooks to Hidlay, and Hidlay to the field. But this is why they wrestle the matches - prove me wrong Keck!

As was stated here several weeks ago on this board, no one who has won 3 NCAAs has failed to win the 4th.   So if that is true (like a physical law), then Lee and Yianni cannot lose, period.  Not happening.   So they are out of contention in this discussion.   Unless the law is flawed somehow.   Wouldn't it be something if either of them lost anywhere along the line?

The GOAT woman UFC fighter got choked out two weeks ago.   It can happen, what an earthquake that will be.

Here's another question.   Will the person that knocks off a #1 guy before the semi's end up in the finals?

Well Lee failed to win his 4th HS state championship. He had knee problems and lost to someone he had teched before.

I’m rooting for Nino to win it all but he is the smart bet here. There are certainly other upsets that could happen and many good ones have been pointed out. However, if Nino would lose to Dean/Allred in the quarters, I don’t even think it would be considered an “upset”

Sure, but nobody who'd won 3 titles had ever lost another NCAA Match before Yianni went down this year.

So...ya know...that means something...right?

Seriously, I think Glory has a 1 in 10 shot at knocking off Lee given it'd be on Sat night. Yianni...I thought Gomez MIGHT be able to beat him again, but that was healthy and wrestling well all season. I think he has a boring tournament and wins like...9-2 or so.
