Wrestlestat shows Flo broadcasting EIWA.

I think last year that ACC and Big 12 were both on ESPN or ESPN+.  Big Ten on the Big Ten Network.  Completely unsure about SoCon, MAC, and Pac-12.  NCAA were on ESPN I think.

Is b10 on the BTN or B1G+?  Perhaps early rounds on + and finals BTN.  The B1G+ app is bad.  😞

Is it true that ESPN won't be airing all mats of the NCAA Tournament on ESPN3 anymore? I heard that whatever is not shown on the main ESPN channel will only  be available to ESPN+ subscribers.

ESPN+ will be streaming every mat on every session up through the medal round.  ESPN will be showing the Saturday Night Finals.

https://espnpressroom.com/us/program-schedules/#tvl_resultsAnchor has a searchable schedule.  Put in the date(s) of the NCAAs, pick ESPN+, and you'll see all the mats scheduled.  Use their advanced search to get only the tournament schedule.

(all times ET)

3/16:  12 to 3:30pm, 7pm to 10:30

3/17:  11am to 2pm, 8pm to 11

3/18:  11am to 2pm, 7pm to 10pm (ESPN)

Well, that sucks. I have ESPN but it looks like I will need to pay for an ESPN+ subscription to see any of the matches before the finals.

Thanks for the info.

That's a small price to pay (like $9.99?).  Those (like me) who don't have a more expensive TV subscription need to get one to get ESPN, as it doesn't "stream" like the others.  I've run through my free trials for Hulu, Sling, YouTubeTV, etc...

Pretty sure that the Pac-12 tourney will be on the pac 12 network and you will need a subscription or have it on your satellite service.

@CHROMEBIRD If you already have Hulu or Disney I would suggest doing the bundle deal they offer. I don't know what the price is now to add the bundle - but last year it was like an extra $4 a month to add Disney adn ESPN to my Hulu and bundle it together.

ESPN+ is well worth it, lot of sports you can watch including B12 & ACC wrestling.  Withe the + you can watch on TV thru regular channels if Hulu or similar package or watch thru app on Roku or on phone, tablet or computer.  The apps are pretty much the same across all devices, not so for b10+ or Flo.

Thanks all, I will look into the bundle deal. I am just annoyed because I already pay for ESPN on TV and the ESPN3 coverage was free. Plus this would be another streaming subscription to add to our list.

The added revenue ESPN+ pulls in doesn't go to NCAA Wrestling, I don't think. Can't tell if ESPN+ would mean more money for the sport in the future, or if ESPN wants to squeeze every last penny out of wrestling fans before moving on. Doesn't the NCAA Tournament deal expire at the end of next season?

Do you think any of the B1G+, Flo or P12n money goes to the NCAA?

ESPN pays the NCAA to broadcast Nationals. They have a contract for exclusive media rights of the D1 wrestling tournament. I can't recall if the wrestling deal is bundled with the broadcast rights for other NCAA sports.

BIG+ and Pac12 Network money goes to the conferecnces. Flo money probably goes to Flo, idk.

Luckily ESPN can do analytics of things like Unique IDs watching, Unique devices watching, etc. to get a quick and easy understanding. Cable viewership is the outlier with outdated methodologies due to inherent analog ideologies forced into digital devices.

I'm sure that ESPN has taken notice that wrestling is the #3 most viewed sport on Big Ten Network behind football and men's basketball. I don't know ACC or Pac12 network stats. Whether those info and sport v sport rankings means much to ESPN or not is the other question...

i am an idiot on the internet

They will also look at ESPN+ membership spikes for people who enroll for a free trial, renew a lapsed membership, upgrade the Disney/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle around tourney time too. The Mouse House is very, very, very digitally forward and data-driven.

One more question, does anyone know if replays of Nationals will be available on ESPN3 on demand? I'm guessing not but have heard that last weekend's conference tournaments may eventually be available on ESPN3.

B12, ACC, MAC, SoCon are on Espn+ in the On Demand section.
