Surtin with an over the top celebration after his pin gets deducted a team point?

Contrary to popular opinion, I think Carr is likely to duck. His best chance is the first match, before O’Toole can adjust his game plan, and that would be Big12 finals for #1 seed at Nationals. If he loses, he still likely gets a 3 seed. But 2 losses might slide him to 4th seed. Plus Dresser is a master gamer, having invented the teammate open to create false qualifiers.

How would he craft the messaging around the decision after hyping the match on Twitter?

If the dual is out of reach, BIG IF, he could plead nagging injuries/wanting completely healthy for post season. Why risk aggravating little injuries, which they almost all have at this point, in a meaningless dual so close to post season?  Something like that. If Carr can win the dual for ISU with a win, a duck is unlikely, but still possible.

So I’n your scenario, either KOT or Carr would slide to the 3 seed with two losses? I don’t see it. Losing as the #1 or 2 vs the other even twice shouldn’t hurt that badly. If you’re suggesting one of the other conference champs move ahead of either of them, I’m not big on that either. Griffin, Amine or whoever else as a champ doesn’t deserve the #2 seed even if KOT or Carr have two losses. I get it may happen and you’re probably right, but Carr for example, two losses to KOT still should be ahead of one loss conference champ Griffith.

And does it really matter as long as they don't drop to the 4 seed?

Yea, I was there for that dual when ISU opted to keep most of their starters home for the “Dresser Open”.

Heading to the Dual now and really hoping all these matches happen.  A big ask I know.

Elam with the take down late in the first and the ride out to lead 2-0 with 53 secs of RT

Elam rides hard in the second and gets a cradle but can't hold on to it. Settles for the ride out 2:53 RT.

Elam quick escape to start third.  Bastida pressing the pace, but nothing. Elam gets a stall warning with about 25 secs to go. And it ends 4-0 Elam.

Thank you very much. Mizzou’s twitter is letting me down.

Schuyler throws Elam to his back for 2, quick escape. 2-1. Schuyler with a quick TD, escape. 4-2. End of first.

Elam out quick. 4-3. Schulyer in deep, but can't finish. 1 min to go. Elam with maybe one shot so far. Second ends 4-3.

Elam riding tough. Looks for the cradle, but instead it lets Schuyler out. 5-3. Elam needs to get active. Elam with a tired single leg attempt after upper body doesn't work. Schuyler stall. Now dancing as Elam not too threatening. 5-3 final to Schuyler.
