The final pieces of the Olympic puzzle fell into place over the weekend as the OG World Qualifier took place in Istanbul, Turkey. The final three wrestlers at each weight earned quotas for the 2024 Olympic Games. Along the way, there were some interesting trends or facts that emerged.
The following wrestlers had four repechage wins to earn qualification for the Olympic Games:
Wanhao Zou (57 kg - MFS/China), Zain Retherford (65 kg - MFS/USA), Mohamd El Sayed (67 kg - MGR/Egypt), and Zoltan Levai (77 kg - MGR/Hungary).
