Stroker, a three-time state champion and Fargo freestyle champion, spent two seasons at the University of Minnesota. After compiling a 25-4 record as a redshirt, Stroker stepped into Minnesota's lineup at 149 pounds this season. He posted a 7-9 record. Stroker's last competition as a Gopher was the Southern Scuffle on Jan. 1-2.
Cornell signed two of the nation's top three recruits from the Class of 2017, No. 2 Yianni Diakomihalis (Hilton, N.Y.) and No. 3 Vitali Arujau (Syosset, N.Y.), along with No. 61 Jake Brindley (Lake Highland Prep, Fla.). Last year, the Big Red landed the nation's No. 12 recruiting class, which included three top 100 recruits.
