The Cardinal improved to 9-2 overall and 2-1 in the Pac-12. Four of Stanford's seven wins came by bonus points against the Roadrunners.
The dual started at 174 pounds where redshirt sophomore Foster Karmon earned an 8-3 decision over Albert Urias. It was the 12th win of the season for Karmon, who is now 2-2 in duals.
Redshirt junior Nathan Traxler, who is ranked eighth nationally, gave Stanford a 9-3 lead in the dual with a fall in 2:00 over Josh Annis at 197 pounds. It was the fifth fall of the season for Traxler, who improved to 17-3 overall.
True freshman Jackson DiSario added to the Cardinal lead with a 14-2 major decision over Alex Hernandez-Figueroa at 125 pounds. DiSario moves to 18-6 overall and 8-2 in duals.
Senior Gabriel Townsell, who moved up to 133 pounds last week at Arizona State, picked up a 6-4 decision over Chance Rich.
Redshirt freshman Real Woods, who is ranked third-nationally, made it 21-6 Stanford with a dominating 16-0 technical fall in 2:27 over Angelo Martinoni at 141 pounds. Woods is now 15-1 on the season and 6-1 in duals.
Redshirt freshman Tyler Eischens secured his 19th win of the year, holding off Wyatt Gerl, 3-2, at 157 pounds.
Redshirt freshman Shane Griffith capped off the scoring with a 13-4 major decision over Jacob Thalin at 165 pounds. Griffith led 2-1 with riding time locked after two periods. He put up 11 points in the final period to improve to 23-0 on the year. He is now tied for the third-longest winning streak in program history.
Stanford is back in action on Sunday against Oregon State. Wrestling begins at 2 p.m. in Burnham Pavilion.
