Ritchey is in his 14th season as the head coach at Southern Oregon University, an NAIA school located in Ashland. Ritchie has compiled a 118-52 career dual meet record, including a 12-1 so far this season.
Southern Oregon recently won the NWCA National Duals with a win over top ranked Lindenwood in the finals. The dual meet was tied 16-16 after the heavyweight match, and the tie was eventually broken on the sixth tiebreaker: most nearfall points in the dual.
The only nearfall points came in the heavyweight bout, giving Southern Oregon a 17-16 victory.
