The Broncs ended the match-up tied with five victories apiece. But while the Edinboro wrestlers were held to no bonus points in their five wins, the Rider wrestlers earned bonus points in all five victories by major decision or technical fall.
This match was the first dual meet victory for the Broncs against Edinboro since they moved into the EWL and snapped Edinboro's 24-match EWL winning streak. The streak spanned the last four years since a Feb. 22, 2013, setback to then EWL member Pittsburgh.
Rider next competes at home in another EWL matchup against Lock Haven University on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m.
