Saturday in Dillon Gym, the Tigers arrived knowing they'd have at least a share of the Ivy League title, but a win over Penn would mean that title would be all Princeton's.
The Tigers went right to work in taking care of that outright title, winning the first seven matches on the way to a 33-6 victory. Right after, Princeton turned around to complete a sweep of Philadelphia's two Division I programs, knocking off Drexel 22-16.
The Penn win and the 5-0 sweep of the Ivy League gave Princeton its first perfect Ivy League season since 1986, which was also Princeton's last Ivy title year.
With the Ivy and Philadelphia sweeps in hand, Princeton will look for a New Jersey sweep for the first time since the 1982-83 season when Rutgers visits Jadwin Gym. Tickets are available here.
