    Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic canceled

The Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic -- formerly known as the Dapper Dan -- has been canceled due to the spread of coronavirus. The event was scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 14.

Directors Kraig Nellis and Phillip Mary issued the following statement:

The Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic has been canceled for this weekend.

The Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic local organizing committee thanks the wrestlers, parents and coaches for your patience and understanding.

For the fans who purchased tickets we ask for time enabling us to determine our next course of action because we will make every effort to reschedule the event.

A special THANK YOU to all our sponsors for their support.

    Kraig Nellis and Philip Mary
