No. 1 Jimmy Sheptock, Ty Snook and Tyler Goodwin picked up the pins for the Terps (6-8, 2-3 ACC), who rebounded from a 7-0 deficit and ripped off eight straight victories.
The dual got underway at 157 pounds. Duke’s Immanuel Kerr-Brown used a first period takedown and riding time gained in the third period to take a 5-2 victory over Ben Dorsay.
Marcus Cain notched the Blue Devils’ only other win of the night at 165 pounds, getting past Josh Snook by major decision.
At 174 pounds, Ty Snook got the Terps on the board with an impressive fall victory over Trey Adamson at 1:44. Sheptock followed up Snook with another pin. The senior captain worked over Jacob Kasper for most of the first period before nabbing the pin at 2:29.
In the most significant match of the night by national ranking, No. 8 Christian Boley shrugged off a sluggish start with a third period takedown that sealed a 3-2 victory over No. 19 Conner Hartmann.
No. 8 Spencer Myers followed up Boley with a 10-2 major decision victory. Myers put forth a workmanlike performance, taking down Brandan Walsh a few times over the course of the three periods.
After Duke forfeited the match at 125 pounds, Tyler Goodwin lit up the Pavilion with a first period pin. The true freshman was on Evan Botwin from the opening whistle, gaining back points twice before finally putting the match away with a pin at 2:29.
Shyheim Brown and Frank Goodwin finished off the match with decision victories. Brown defeated Xaviel Ramos, 5-3, at 141 pounds before Goodwin survived a late surge from Connor Bass and won 8-5.
The Terps also raised $1,748 in partnership with Pin Cancer at the dual.
Maryland retakes the mat next week for two home duals. The Terps take on N.C. State Friday at 7 p.m. before facing off with American Sunday at 5 p.m.

Select Terps also competed at the Messiah Open. Geoffrey Alexander used three fall victories to capture the 133-pound title. Brother Justin Alexander took 149-pound championship. Daniel Sanchez finished second while RJ DeGeorge third at 141 pounds.
Lou Mascola took fourth at 157 pounds. Tyler Manion won a 3-2 decision over George Mason’s Matthew Stull to win the title at 165 pounds.
The Terps also placed well at the higher weights. Dylan Devine got past Aaron Pence to win the 197-pound championship. Ryan Kail and Sean Twigg finished third and fourth respectively at heavyweight.
