    Pair of Cal State Fullerton wrestlers make Pac-10 All-Academic team

    Senior Risto Marttinen made the first team and sophomore Morgan Atkinson is on the second unit of the 2006 Pacific-10 Conference Wrestling All-Academic team announced today by Commissioner Tom Hansen. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.

    Atkinson (Temecula, Calif.) placed fourth at the Pac-10 Championships at 149 pounds and qualified for the NCAA Championships, where he split four bouts. Marttinen (Laguna Niguel, Calif.), the Titans' 165-pounder, made the academic squad for the fourth year in a row.
