No. 17 Mejia chooses IllinoisAfter Justin Mejia (Clovis, Calif.), the nation's No. 17 overall wrestler in the Class of 2017, decommitted from the University of Iowa it was unknown where one of the nation's best light-weight prospects would end up. As of this afternoon, Mejia verbally committed to the University of Illinois. The three-time state champion projects to compete as a 125 or 133 pound wrestler at the next level. User Feedback
