Colby, KS -- After a long holiday break, the Trojans were back in wrestling action at the Colby Tournament of Champions in Colby, KS. NIACC finished with six placers out of eight that competed with three champions. NIACC finished second as team with Colby winning the team title.

Colby, currently ranked No. 4 in the country finished with seven placers and three champions. The Trojans of Colby matched up head to head with the Trojans of NIACC in seven weights with NIACC winning five of the seven. The tournament which is typically ran in a traditional 8-man bracket, was switched to a round-robin format due to a lack of numbers.

Moen claimed the championship with a big win over No. 3 rated Lyobomir Kumbarov of Colby by a score of 8-2. Albert White claimed his second tournament championship of the year by defeating the same wrestler he did for the first title in T.J. Hepburn of Colby who is rated No. 5.
